Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Test Lead (Test Manager) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading test readiness reviews, managing project testing activities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality testing outcomes. You will play a critical role in maintaining compliance with contractual requirements, industry standards, and best practices while supporting project testers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Test Readiness Reviews:
   
   
   • Develop and review Test Management Plans.
   • Oversee project testing activities, including functional testing and user acceptance testing.
   • Develop and maintain test scripts and user cases.
2. Ensure Compliance:
   
   
   • Ensure testing activities, including those conducted by third-party delivery partners, adhere to contractual requirements, Defence policy obligations, and relevant industry standards.
   • Promote best practices in testing procedures.
3. Support Project Testers:
   
   
   • Collaborate with project testers to provide support, knowledge, and resources.
   • Address potential risks and ensure the delivery of high-quality testing outcomes.
4. Review and Validate Test Reports:
   
   
   • Validate test reports for compliance with agreed plans and policies.
   • Provide feedback and ensure adherence to testing protocols.
5. Process Improvement Recommendations:
   
   
   • Make recommendations to the Project Management Office for improvements in testing processes and control procedures.
   • Identify opportunities for automation to enhance objectivity and minimize human error.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Test Lead or Test Manager in complex project environments.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience in leading functional testing and user acceptance testing.
• Familiarity with Defence policy obligations and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple testing projects and deliver high-quality results.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address testing issues.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of risk management in testing.
• Experience working with third-party delivery partners.
