About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced EL1 Scrum Master to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day agile project functions, ensuring the scrum process is followed, and coaching teams in Agile methodologies across multiple Government Departments. Key Responsibilities:
- Agile Project Management: Accountable for managing stand-ups, task scheduling, prioritization, and coordination across multiple Government Departments.
- Scrum Process Enforcement: Ensure the scrum process is adhered to by cross-departmental teams.
- Agile Coaching: Coach and support teams in Agile methodologies, promoting their adoption across the Departments for improved program outcomes.
- Team Leadership: Lead external delivery teams, facilitate events/ceremonies, manage stakeholders, engage teams, produce planning documents, and measure team outputs.
- Communication & Engagement: Support and ensure clear communication and engagement between internal and external teams, including vendors and other Departments.
- Risk & Opportunity Management: Engage with the Program Manager and stakeholders to identify risks, blockers, opportunities, and impediments to delivery.
- Preferred Knowledge: Experience with the Workforce Australia’s Digital Platform, ESSWeb 1.0, and JIRA is advantageous but not essential.
- Certification: Scrum Master certification in the Scaled Agile Framework is desirable.
- Skills: Strong ability to engage with stakeholders, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Long term contract: 18 months + 2x 12 months extension option
- Open to Interstate candidates
