What You’ll Do

As the Lead Infrastructure Delivery Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the successful uplift and enhancement of the organisation's core OT/IT infrastructure.  As a key member of a collaborative and supportive team dedicated to this mission-critical initiative, you will drive its successful delivery. This is an initial 12-month fixed-term contract with strong potential for extensions and/or a permanent position based on performance and project needs.

  • Active Directory Implementation: Lead the deployment of a new on-premises AD environment, involving multiple AD domains.
  • Active Directory Migration: Address and update existing AD domains to ensure a seamless migration process.
  • Hardware and Network Refresh: Oversee the refresh of hardware, network switches, and desktops to current standards.
  • SCCM Deployments: Manage SCCM deployments and patching to maintain system security and performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with vendors, factory, and IT delivery teams to ensure integration and standardization across all sites.
  • Cybersecurity Enhancements: Strengthen the cybersecurity posture by standardizing and decommissioning outdated systems.
  • Factory Upgrades: Implement infrastructure upgrades in factory environments, aligning with successful corporate IT strategies.
 
What You Bring
  • Active Directory Expertise: Extensive experience in implementing and migrating on-premises AD environments.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in OS upgrades, server builds, OT monitoring solutions, servers, desktops, VMware, SCCM, and Citrix solutions within an operational technology environment and experience working across similar projects.
  • Cybersecurity Knowledge: Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and cybersecurity measures.
  • Exceptional Communication:Strong verbal and written skills to effectively convey technical information.
  • Driving License: Must possess a valid driving license for access to pool and hire cars for site visits.
  • Willingness to Travel: Once per Month travel (2-3 days) to sites on the East Coast (primarily Sydney and Melbourne), - occasionally Adelaide/Perth. Travel is conducted as a team.
