About the role
We're seeking a Seasoned Business Analyst with extensive experience in the application Software Development Life Cycle to support a Bespoke system upgrades or replacement. As the crucial link between the business and technology team, you'll focus on critical systems that are the back bone of the organisation.
- Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into technical specifications to define project scope.
- Map current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and design optimised solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Perform complex data analysis, create insightful reports and dashboards, and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Evaluate existing systems, propose upgrades or new solutions, and collaborate with IT teams on system architecture design.
- Assist in project planning, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure timely project delivery through effective progress monitoring.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, assist with UAT Testing, and serve as a liaison between business and IT departments
kills & experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior Business Analyst, with a focus on custom software development initiatives.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Delivery experience using Waterfall and Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Experience in Confluence, JIRA, and project management tools
- Proven energy or utilities experience is preferred
- Certification from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) is desirable.
