An exciting opportunity to work for a leading managed services and cloud (IoT, AWS, Azure) IT solutions provider across enterprise, all levels of government and mid-market clients. This company has a successful track record of over 30 years' operating in Australia with offices across 4 locations.


The Role
The Pre Sales Engineer will play a pivotal role within the organisation, reporting directly to the Operations Manager and maintaining a dotted line connection to the Head of Sales.
This position entails engaging with potential clients to discern their requirements and effectively communicate the value proposition of products and services. Responsibilities include crafting compelling presentations, formulating responses to proposals, and engaging in activities that drive success with potential opportunities.
  • Identify potential clients, spark conversations, and fuel interest in adopting ground breaking products and services.
  • Deliver captivating presentations and live demonstrations, leaving lasting impressions on potential clients and partners.
  • Dive deep into client consultations, unravelling pain-points and preferences to guide them towards the perfect solution.
  • Collaborate with Senior Architects to ensure designs aligned, cost efficient, and seamlessly supported within the Managed Service framework.
  • Work together with Sales and Marketing teams to shape impactful campaigns and strategies.

Skills & Experience
  • We would prefer if you had minimum of 5 years' experience in Network Infrastructure and Support
  • Hands-on presales experience with Juniper, Aruba, F5, and OpenGear
  • Strong experience specifically focused on designing and implementing networking solutions (Highly regarded: Data Centre, Campus, Wi-Fi, and Security Domains)
  • Strong presentation and selling skills, underscoring the ability to articulate technical concepts persuasively and effectively.
  • Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of building successful relationships with vendors and clients, along with adeptness in customer relations and problem management.
