About the role
This role involves designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions while educating engineering teams on building secure and repeatable infrastructure. This involves applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to automate the provisioning, deployment, and management processes, along with implementing monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance.

Skills & experience
  • Design and implement AWS cloud architecture solutions.
  • Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices.
  • Provision and automate cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Manage configurations with tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
  • Orchestrate containers using Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
  • Utilise monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Python, Go, or Java.
  • Use scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
