Working with a well-established Government department who are undergoing an expansive technology transformation and uplift – large body of work with a view for extension.
 
Job Description:
We are seeking an analytical professional to perform end-to-end testing of integrated systems, spanning hardware, software, and networks. You'll develop test strategies, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and verify system quality through comprehensive testing. Success requires meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Integration Testing: Conduct thorough integration testing of hardware, software, and networking components to ensure seamless operation across all systems.
  • Test Planning & Execution: Develop and implement detailed test plans, test cases, and procedures for system integration.
  • Test Automation: Collaborate with the development team to automate test cases for regression and continuous integration environments.
  • Issue Identification & Reporting: Identify, document, and track issues and defects, providing detailed reports to stakeholders and assisting with resolution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with system architects, developers, and network engineers to ensure that integration testing aligns with project timelines and goals.
  • Performance and Stress Testing: Conduct performance, load, and stress testing on integrated systems to evaluate their capacity and resilience.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear and concise documentation of test procedures, results, and defect logs; prepare and present test summaries and status reports.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements to testing processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in integration testing, system testing, or quality assurance, ideally in a hardware, software, and networking environment.
  • Strong understanding of system integration processes and methodologies.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Quality Center).
  • Proficiency in scripting and test automation frameworks (e.g., Python, Selenium, Jenkins).
  • Familiarity with networking protocols and hardware/software interactions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus.
