Cyber Security Analyst

The Company
Working with a critical Federal Government department who are undergoing an expansive technology transformation and uplift – large body of work with a view for extensions.

The Role

You will play a pivotal role in a major transformation of the existing ICT infrastructure  - protecting critical information and enhancing cybersecurity in both on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Drive Security Compliance: Ensure systems align with industry standards including: ISM, PSPF, and Essential 8.
  • Support Critical Projects: Assist with IRAP preparation and contribute to cloud migration efforts.
  • Strengthen Security: Manage cyber risks and provide expert advice to maintain the integrity of departmental systems.
Please note due to the nature of this role you must be an Australian Citizen holding Baseline Security Clearance (or above) to be eligible to apply.


Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrable experience in security monitoring, access control, and system hardening.
  • Expertise in applying Australian government security frameworks, particularly ISM, PSPF, and Essential 8, in large on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Experience with IRAP preparation and IT security strategy implementation.
  • Relevant industry certifications (desirable but not mandatory).
