Contract Duration: Initial 12 months, with possible extensions (up to 6 months each, maximum of 2 extensions)

About Us:

As we navigate the digital transformation of our unique research activities, we are looking for a Communications Specialist to help us communicate our innovations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute communication and digital marketing strategies.
  • Create multi-channel communication initiatives (emails, newsletters, brochures, flyers, factsheets, presentations, web pages) to promote key projects and organizational messages.
  • Foster strong client engagement with stakeholders, utilizing various consultation techniques to encourage genuine feedback.
  • Present innovative ideas for effective communication tailored to the Research Community.
  • Produce high-quality, consistent work within established deadlines and budgets.
  • Assist in designing and maintaining digital strategies to promote DSSC products and services through digital media campaigns, including internal platforms like SharePoint.
  • Ensure effective and efficient communication of messages.
  • Evaluate communication activities to ensure objectives are met.
  • Collaborate closely with projects to translate complex information into clear concepts for stakeholders.
  • Assist projects in developing communication plans as required.
Essential Criteria:
  1. Strong ability to engage clients and stakeholders, encouraging genuine feedback through diverse consultation techniques.
  2. Proven experience in producing compelling multi-channel communication initiatives.
  3. Ability to translate complex information into clear and accessible concepts that meet stakeholder needs.
Desirable Experience:
  • Background in customer relations preferred.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills, with a knack for problem-solving and exercising good judgment.
