About the role:
Seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Product Owner who has worked with complex software and has worked with web-based software. The successful candidate would be working between the customer and software developers and will require an understanding of the software (web-based) and be a strong communicator who possesses high-level organisational skills. Experience working with tools such as Miro, Jira or Confluence would be an advantage.
Key responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and development teams.
• Define and prioritise product features based on business value, customer needs, and market trends.
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of business processes, requirements, and project-related information.
Desirable skills / qualifications
• NV1 security clearance (or hold a current Baseline with the ability to obtain an NV1).
• Experience working on a software Defence project.
• Ability to liaise between stakeholders and software developers.
• Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle.
• University Degree qualifications / Degree in Business / IT preferred.
• A working knowledge of business transformation techniques and IT delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of IT best practice technology design and ongoing maintenance.
• Ability to manage roadmaps aligned with business strategies and demonstrated business partnering experience.
• Demonstrated experience in working with complex technology application platforms.
• Have a detailed understanding of application lifecycle management.
• Understanding of the IT processes of an organisation.
Travel requirements:
Overseas travel (Germany) may be required for initial company training.
