Position Overview:

The Protection Engineer will play a pivotal role in integrating, implementing, and conducting systems engineering activities for the protection systems integrated into land vehicles. Working collaboratively with subcontractors and internal teams, the Protection Engineer will ensure the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions that meet the stringent requirements of the defence projects.
 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake protection engineering activities across various projects, including requirements development, analysis, and management.
  • Conduct system integration assessment and technical data management.
  • Plan and execute verification and validation activities, ensuring compliance with military standards and regulations.
  • Provide expert advice and support in the area of vehicle protection and survivability.
  • Collaborate closely with subcontractors and internal teams to deliver quality engineering outcomes.
  • Ensure exceptional quality of all deliverables and exchanges with subcontractors.
 
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum 5 years of Systems Engineering experience.
  • Experience in the Defence sector with extensive knowledge of protection and survivability military standards and regulations related to vehicle development.
  • Security Clearance: Minimum NV1.
