Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join a team of highly skilled professionals in a critical project in the Defence sector. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and translating business needs into technical requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that project objectives are met effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Conduct thorough business process analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
- Utilize Jira and Confluence to document and track project progress, issues, and changes.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions to drive alignment and decision-making.
- Apply Scrum methodologies to plan and execute project activities, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status, risks, and dependencies.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate project performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the Defence sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to critically evaluate complex business processes.
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing requirements and priorities.
